The Cloud (2008) <<

(part of MIT Mobile Experience Lab)

The Cloud is an interactive public sculpture, an urban landmark, commissioned by Pitti Immagine to be installed at Fortezza da Basso, Florence.

The Cloud is an autonomous being that can sense the envrionment and respond to the passer by. For some, it is the oracle that can tell how good or bad their soccer team will play during the UEFA championship, for others it is a canvas where they throw virtual cakes onto their favorite politician's face.

The Cloud is a new kind of public character, the cool deviant guy, we all want to meet in the neighborhood.
